Dr. Joana N. Forsea

Dr. Joana N. Forsea portraitDr. Forsea has been practicing orthodontics for over 20 years in New York and abroad in Europe. Ever since her graduation from NYU College of Dentistry and her Orthodontic Residency Program there, she has remained as a faculty member to oversee and train rising orthodontists for the next generation. She has perfected her expertise in treating children, adolescents, and adults with CLIII malocclusions (underbites) in addition to all dentofacial anomalies and malocclusions.

Dr. Forsea cares deeply about her patients overall well-being and health. She views orthodontics from the broad sense of treating the entire patient. This includes looking at the function of the occlusion, the bite, the aesthetics of the smile and the psychologic implications of the treatment the patients are undergoing. She understands that treatment is not easy for patients and she strives to create an orthodontic experience that is custom fit for every patient.
